Slow Cooker The Best Bbq Sauce

Slow Cooker The Best Bbq Sauce

This sauce is everything great BBQ sauce should be – sweet, smoky, tangy, tomatoey. Especially when meat is off the menu, this sauce adds such depth of flavour ... no one will feel they’re missing out! The flavours are dynamic on your tongue, not like the flat sugary flavour of squeezy-bottle supermarket varieties. And, for BBQ sauce, it’s surprisingly low in refined sugar – the whole apples deliver the trifecta of sweetness, tang and thickener. The 1 teaspoon of liquid smoke cannot be underestimated in this recipe, it really is the icing on the BBQ sauce cake.
