Welcome to the world of Thermo Plant-Based: Recipes for Everyone – a collection of delicious plant-based recipes everyone will love, made easy with your Thermomix machine or other thermo cooker. This cookbook is filled with mouth-watering dishes that you won’t believe are made with plants. Whether you’re a vegan, a meatless Monday enthusiast, a sometimes pescatarian, a wannabe flexitarian, or even a meat lover, this book is for you. No labels needed – just recipes everyone can enjoy that happen to be meat and animal product free. Everyone can enjoy plant-based meals, and no one will feel like they’re missing out.

Now a heads-up – you won’t find avocado on toast, smoothie bowls, chia puddings, or buddha bowls here. What’s inside this book is a whole new level of plant cuisine. These are plant-based recipes like you’ve never seen or tasted, and certainly never made in a Thermomix or thermo cooker before. I’ve covered everything from snacks, essentials and quick dinners to grand feasts, and fancy desserts, with recipes to suit every taste and occasion. I’m here to introduce more plant-based dishes into your life, stress-free, without you even noticing they’re missing the animal products. Everything you need is neatly organised within these pages, along with stunning photos to guide and inspire, so every recipe feels effortless, doable, and fun.

And there’s an exciting addition – the recipes in this book stand alone, perfect as they are, but also offer the flexibility to combine and create a plethora of new dishes. Rather than just presenting a lasagne recipe, I’ve provided a Mozzarella recipe (p. 154) and a Bolognaise recipe (p. 109), showing how to use them together to craft the heartiest plant-based lasagne you’ve ever tasted (and seen!). Craving simple spaghetti? Use the same Bolognaise recipe over pasta. Our Flavourful Mushroom Mix (p. 77), perfect with rice, can also become the foundation for mouth-watering noodles or fluffy steamed buns – all recipes conveniently found within these pages. The possibilities are endless, and everything you need is right here in Thermo Plant-Based.

The cherry on top? With the wide range of plant-based basics and essential recipes in this book, you can easily plant-ise your favourite dishes. Have a beloved apple pie recipe? Now you have the plant-based pastry recipe (p. 169) to use for it. Love a meat pizza? Use my gyros recipe (p. 83) as a delicious meaty pizza topping. Yoghurt and granola your standard breakfast? Substitute cows’ milk yoghurt with my coconut yoghurt (p. 171). Easy done!

This book is designed to meet you exactly where you’re at. If you’re up for making your own plant butter to use in your pastry, brilliant, but if you’d rather buy either – totally okay. Both still mean you are making strides towards a less wasteful, healthier plant-based dessert – major kudos to you! If you’ve got time to make your own bread for French toast, we’ve got the perfect recipe, but if buying a loaf makes homemade French toast doable for you, then absolutely go ahead and buy it. Throughout the book, we’ve highlighted options for both purchased and homemade ingredients, but please know the outcome will be superb either way.
