While I love making my own milk substitutes, I especially like making oat milk as, unlike most plant-based milks, no pre-soaking is needed. Literally quicker then running to the shops to buy a carton! This milk is delicious and creamy on its own, however there is room to play around with flavours and sweeteners – add cinnamon, cacao powder, chai powder, extra maple syrup... have fun with it. Can be used in all my recipes that require plant milk.
