This recipe is super impressive, both to the eyes and the palate, yet surprisingly quick and easy to make. The best results come from using bread that’s a few days old, so it’s a great way to use up a loaf that’s past its prime and those nearly black bananas you have lying around. To serve, raid the fruit bowl, defrost frozen berries, drizzle with melted chocolate or load ice cream on top... or it’s super delicious just on its own.
