Slow Cooker Nurturing Turmeric Tonic

Slow Cooker Nurturing Turmeric Tonic

Spicy, warming ginger with sweet honey and zesty lemon all contribute to this nurturing turmeric elixir. Basically, it’s a power- packed concentrate of flavour and goodness with so many uses – add a shot to warm water on rising, dilute with soda water for a bubbly soft drink, dilute with boiling water for a tea (and add a shot of whisky for a hot toddy!). You can use it to flavour your kombucha’s second ferment. You can even mix it with equal parts olive oil, plus a pinch of salt, and you’ve got yourself a punchy salad dressing!
