Vegan Facon A.k.a Fake Bacon in the Thermomix

Facon A.k.a Fake Bacon in the Thermomix | Recipe

Facon gives you fake bacon - salty, smokey and chewy, this wannabe is the perfect doppelganger. This is my favourite addition to salads, especially one with cos lettuce and creamy dressing to replicate a Caesar salad - another favourite of mine which is hard to find plant based. Missing out just because we are vegan is not how we roll! Highly recommend using a good quality coconut oil as it does make a big difference to the outcome and flavour of your facon.
