Use your Cutter & Slicer anytime you previously would have reached for a food processor, v-slicer, julienne peeler or box grater... or anytime you need to thinly slice something! Think uniform slices for a potato bake (click here for the free recipe), gratin, salad, fruit tart or pie, shredding vegetables like cabbage for a coleslaw, zucchini for a fritter or potato for a hash brown, grating carrot or apple for a cake, salad or dessert... the possibilities are endless. I've recently been using mine to shred the carrot and cucumber for both my Sushi Bowl and Vietnamese Rice Noodle Salad recipes, as well as to thinly slice cabbage for homemade sauerkraut, kimchi and coleslaw (my Sauerkraut recipe is on page 57 of Thermo Cooker Fresh Favourites, and my Kimchi recipe is page 236 Everyday Thermo Cooking).
