Important Safety Information: TM6 MCs

I really want to make sure all TM6 owners have heard about the safety issue with the TM6 MC as announced on the website thermomixfacts.com.au earlier this week. The safety of everyone in this community is of paramount importance to me - direct text from www.thermomixfacts.com.au website: “Consequently, increased pressure can build up in the mixing bowl during cooking or simmering (or heating at temperatures of 95°C / 200°F and above), which can lead to a sudden and uncontrolled spillage of hot food, which can cause burns.”

Please visit the thermomixfacts.com.au website to familiarise yourself with the issues, or contact Thermomix in Australia directly for clarification. Please ensure you only use your Thermomix machine and all MCs in accordance with the manufacturer’s safety instructions, including when cooking our recipes and using our accessories.

While many Thermomix customers have contacted me directly to discuss the new safety procedures, I have absolutely no association with the manufacturers or distributors of the Thermomix machine so I only have the exact same information that was provided to all Thermomix customers and cannot advise or explain. However I personally, as an incredibly long-standing Thermomix customer myself, am extremely disappointed with how this situation has been handled.

Again, I recommend everyone visit thermomixfacts.com.au or contact Thermomix HQ for more information. Please ensure you only use your Thermomix machine and all MCs in accordance with the manufacturer’s safety instructions.
