These Hot Chocolate Spoons are the perfect homemade gift – a delightful blend of indulgence and thoughtfulness. Easy to make and beautifully customisable, they’re great for Christmas stockings, thank-you gifts, or a little treat for yourself! Also the perfect end to a festive celebration; have a hot chocolate station with a pitcher of hot milk and Hot Choccy spoons for guests to stir in themselves (you could even add a shot of Frangelico, Baileys, Whiskey or Vanilla Vodka!).

Ingredients
- 250g chocolate (can be milk or dark - milk will produce a sweeter hot chocolate. For a soy free / dairy free / vegan option ensure chocolate doesn't contain dairy or soy)
- Mini marshmallows (for a vegan and vegetarian option, use vegan marshmallows)
- Choc chips (optional)
- Wooden spoons or candy canes

Method
- Melt 250g chocolate in microwave or over a double boiler.
- Once melted pour chocolate evenly between the 6 cavities of our Jumbo Freezer Pods, or between 6 of our Silicone Dariole Moulds. The chocolate is only meant to partially fill each mould, don't worry!
- Insert wooden spoons or candy canes - I used chopsticks to keep them upright while the chocolate is setting (see photo below).
- Sprinkle with mini marshmallows and choc chips immediately, while chocolate is still melted.
- Allow chocolate to set at room temperature, unless it's a stinking hot day then transfer to the fridge.
- Once set (approx. 2 hours) push chocolate spoons up and out of the moulds from the bottom. Place in cellophane bags and tie the top with string - they're ready to gift!
To make the hot chocolate, heat 1 cup of milk (any type) to just before the boil, then add in chocolate spoon and stir until melted. If you made them using candy canes, these will hook over the side of your mug or glass (super cute, see below!).
