A soft and fluffy dough hugging a sweet and sticky filling – sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? Here I’ve put a novel spin on the classic cinnamon scroll by adding banana – not only does it add a subtle banana flavour, but it also delivers sweetness (along with the dates) in the form of fruit rather than additional refined sugar – always a little win! I’ve included a note on how to ice the scrolls should you desire, but honestly, they’re pretty perfect just as they are.
