My sister Ellen initially developed this recipe for another project, but after Loryn took the photo we all fell so in love with it we just had to squeeze it in here! Both the recipe and the photo totally embody the freshness I imagined for this book. It makes a refreshing afternoon sweet treat, but also a delicious summer breakfast.
