Another one of my jar-cooked wonders! This super-simple recipe creates a sweet and juicy berry sauce that’ll perfectly jazz up all manner of dishes. Flavour plain yoghurt (make your own, page 177!), drizzle over custard, ice cream, panna cotta, porridge, pancakes or fresh fruit. You can even blitz into a berry milkshake! You can use whatever berries take your fancy for this recipe (or whatever you’ve got in the freezer), opting for a mix or a single berry variant ... or maybe one jar of each. The rosewater adds a nice floral touch but is by no means essential.
