I have a thriving rhubarb patch that lets me harvest year-round, so this recipe is one of my go-tos – it’s a brilliant base for whatever sweet breakfast or dessert I fancy. A little sweet from the strawberries, a little sour from the rhubarb, it’s one of my favourite combinations. But of course if you’ve got an apple that’s looking a little soft or some other berries that need using, throw them in too. The more the merrier! I always say it’s not about recipes that are per fect for me, it’s about what you like and what you have on hand. So make your own!
