Ingredients
1kg Desiree potatoes, peeled and cut into thick chips
80g extra-virgin olive oil
1 tbsp alyce’s no-chicken-chicken salt (or more or less to taste)
Method
- Preheat oven to 220C fan forced. If your oven runs cool, crank it up a bit extra.
- Fill TC bowl with 500g water. Place potatoes in steaming tray and steam for 20 minutes, steaming temperature, speed 3.
- Transfer potatoes to two lined baking trays, then drizzle with oil (if using this baking dish there’s no need to line, and it makes the chips perfectly crispy!). ensure each chip is evenly coated.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then turn, bake for a further 10 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
Transfer to a large bowl and add chicken salt. toss to combine, serve immediately.
