Remember those Barney Banana ice creams from Peters? I must admit that while my taste has since developed, as a kid I loved them! These are my homemade take on that milk bar classic, sans any artificial ingredients. Personally, I think mine are much better! You can use any ice cream moulds for this, but our pick is of course our silicone ice cream moulds – your pops simply peel out once frozen with the sticks held perfectly in position!

Ingredients
1 very ripe banana, halved
120g condensed milk
60g evaporated milk
150g cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
- Place bananas, condensed milk and evaporated milk in TC bowl, mash for 20 seconds, speed 6.
- Add cream and vanilla, whip for 20 seconds, speed 4. Insert wooden sticks into 6 silicone ice cream moulds and divide mixture evenly between. Freeze for a minimum of 8 hours.
Remove from moulds and serve. Makes 6.
