This is my foolproof white sourdough recipe – your go-to classic white loaf for every occasion and every purpose. It’s got that thick, crunchy crust with the perfect soft inside, peppered with those characteristic sourdough holes. This is the recipe I make most, and although it may look and taste slightly different every time depending on your scoring, the temperature when rising, the proving basket you use or how fermented your sourdough starter is - I can guarantee it will always be delicious! And thanks to the sourdough component, this loaf will keep fresh much longer than your usual homemade loaves.
